Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize operational efficiency
- Maintain and improve financial systems, leveraging advanced Excel modeling and ERP platforms
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and lead cross-functional financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and month-end closes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Experience with financial audits and internal controls implementation
