Your Role
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status closely, reporting any changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to optimize patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment while adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Active RN License in the State of California.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Diploma required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
