Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
Qualifications
- Valid and active RN license in the State of New York.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree accepted with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical-Surgical or Acute Care setting.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care.
