Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer complex medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
- Operate and interpret advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Respond promptly to emergency scenarios and implement life-saving interventions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with hospital standards and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize EMR systems efficiently.
