Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret hemodynamic data to adjust treatment protocols.
- Administer complex medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators and dialysis machines.
- Maintain precise, real-time electronic health records for all patient interventions.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during difficult transitions.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification preferred.
- Exceptional clinical judgment and high-pressure decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in EMR software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment.
