Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans for critically ill patients.
- Monitor and record physiological data, adjusting treatments as necessary in response to patient status changes.
- Manage complex life-support equipment, including ventilators and hemodialysis machines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists.
- Administer advanced medications and therapeutic interventions with precision.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during high-stress situations.
- Maintain rigorous standards of infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
