Responsibilities
- Provide continuous, high-level critical care, assessment, and monitoring to unstable, critically ill patients.
- Manage and titrate complex vasoactive medications, mechanical ventilators, and advanced life-support equipment.
- Collaborate dynamically with multi-disciplinary medical teams to implement and adjust customized patient care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications, intravenous therapies, and blood products with precise accuracy.
- Support and educate patient families, translating complex clinical updates with empathy and clarity.
- Maintain impeccable digital records of patient vitals, clinical progress, and nursing interventions using Epic EHR.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an ICU or high-acuity Critical Care setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Proven expertise operating critical care equipment and navigating electronic health record systems (Epic preferred).
- Strong analytical, rapid-response decision-making, and critical thinking skills under pressure.
