Responsibilities
- Provide advanced, specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient physiological parameters and response to treatment.
- Administer complex medications, intravenous infusions, and vasoactive drugs in compliance with clinical protocols.
- Collaborate dynamically with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and specialists, to optimize care plans.
- Operate and manage life-support equipment, ventilators, and advanced diagnostic machinery.
- Deliver compassionate support and clear clinical education to patients and their families during critical transitions.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in an ICU or high-acuity critical care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred (or currently enrolled in an accredited BSN program).
- Exceptional critical thinking, crisis management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency with modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
