Responsibilities

  • &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Monitor vital signs, interpret EKG readings, and manage complex life support equipment.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records and documentation.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Respond to emergency situations and initiate life-saving measures as necessary.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;

Qualifications
