Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement acute care for critically ill patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret complex physiological data.
- Administer advanced medications and maintain titration of vasoactive drips.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and social workers.
- Document patient progress accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Advocate for patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
- Educate family members on complex care plans and discharge protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU or Critical Care experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proven ability to operate mechanical ventilators and hemodialysis equipment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient advocacy and ethical nursing practice.
