Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and record patient condition changes in a high-acuity environment.
- Manage complex mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and medication titration.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer life-saving treatments and interventions during emergencies.
- Provide empathetic support and clear communication to patients and their families.
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students during clinical rotations.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively under high-stress, emergency conditions.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a diverse multidisciplinary team.
