Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with high accuracy.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and interpret data from complex medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Advocate for patient comfort and safety through meticulous bedside care.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding patient status and treatment protocols.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal nursing regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive under high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Epic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support diverse patient demographics.
