Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Manage complex life-support systems and advanced medical equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans.
- Provide critical emotional and educational support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment to prevent infection and promote healing.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and code situations.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care or ICU setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work under high-pressure conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teamwork.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
