Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret complex medical data effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments precisely according to physician orders.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on care procedures and post-discharge recovery.
- Respond promptly and calmly to medical emergencies and code situations.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in modern electronic health record (EHR) systems.
