Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and record patient condition changes in a fast-paced ICU setting.
- Administer complex medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precision.
- Operate and interpret data from advanced life-support equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical times.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students during clinical rotations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably Epic.
