Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret clinical data to adjust care plans in real-time.
- Administer medications and treatments precisely according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists.
- Operate advanced life-support machinery and critical monitoring technology.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families.
- Maintain precise medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and nursing education.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity critical care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
