Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs and medical information of critically ill patients.
- Administer medications and IV therapies with high precision.
- Operate and interpret data from complex medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during high-stress situations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory healthcare standards.
- Participate in rapid response initiatives and emergency life-support interventions.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex medical equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to act calmly in high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
