Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critical cardiac patients using advanced telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Administer precise medication protocols and interventions for acute cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management and recovery protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with meticulous documentation
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations with advanced life support certification
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU or cardiac telemetry experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and cardiac monitoring technology
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
