Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information with precision.
- Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other life-support equipment for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement personalized care plans.
- Administer complex medications and intravenous therapies safely.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical recovery phases.
- Maintain strictly compliant electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with hospital standards.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU, CCU, or critical care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN certification is a plus).
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy and empathy.
- Proficiency in modern hospital information systems and documentation software.
