Responsibilities
- Perform detailed patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond immediately to emergent situations and assist in code blue scenarios.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in critical care or telemetry.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
