Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Provide patient advocacy and emotional support to patients and families.
- Respond to medical emergencies and critical situations with rapid, effective intervention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience preferred.
- BSN degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
