Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions in real-time, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans and disease management.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider interdisciplinary team.
- Document all patient interactions, observations, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license issued by the New York State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Critical Care, ICU, or Telemetry preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
