Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status continuously, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care or ICU settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
