Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized oncology care including chemotherapy administration and symptom management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and families facing cancer diagnoses
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly
- Educate patients on disease processes, medications, and home care protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in tumor board meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Washington State RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years oncology nursing experience
- ONS/Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with chemotherapy biotherapy administration
