Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and manage treatment side effects with precision
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and palliative care specialists
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Participate in tumor board meetings and clinical research initiatives
Qualifications
- BSN degree (MSN preferred) from accredited institution
- Current Minnesota RN license with 3+ years oncology experience
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) or BSN within 12 months
- Proficiency in administering IV chemotherapy and biotherapy
- Strong critical thinking skills for complex symptom management
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
