Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialized treatments per protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and manage infusion reactions with precision
- Collaborate with oncologists to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients on treatment side effects and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during treatment journeys
- Participate in tumor board meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years oncology/hematology infusion experience
- ONS/OCN certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment skills for complex symptom management
- Experience with chemotherapy administration protocols
- Exceptional communication and emotional intelligence
