Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate, detailed medical records.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient recovery progress and intervene immediately when complications arise.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or medical-surgical setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
