Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to empower patients and families in their care journey.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate seamless care transitions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (or compact state eligibility).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
