Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality, and compassionate patient care in a critical care setting.
- Continuously monitor, record, and report vital signs, patient condition, and treatment responses.
- Administer medications, blood products, and complex treatments safely and accurately as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to life-saving emergencies and code blue situations.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Critical Care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Exceptional clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Proficiency in operating complex medical equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and high emotional resilience.
