Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to critical changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical notes.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
