Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor patient vitals and interpret diagnostic data for rapid intervention
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer mentorship
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 2+ years ICU or critical care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills for hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and crisis management abilities
