Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care interventions for cardiac and post-surgical patients
- Monitor and interpret complex telemetry data with precision
- Administer specialized medications and emergency treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with 100% compliance
- Mentor new nurses through our structured preceptorship program
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (IL RN)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 3+ years ICU experience with cardiac specialization
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Demonstrated expertise in hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
