Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced cardiac nursing care to critically ill patients in a 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and recovery protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety audits
Qualifications
- Current NY State RN license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- 2+ years of ICU/CCU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with cardiac monitoring equipment (e.g., ventilators, IABP)
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
