Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive critical care to post-surgical, trauma, and medically complex patients
- Administer specialized medications and therapies including vasoactive drips and ventilator management
- Perform advanced nursing assessments and interpret diagnostic data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Lead rapid response interventions during emergency situations
- Maintain precise documentation in Epic EMR system
- Mentor junior nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid New York State RN license
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience with ACLS/BLS certifications
- Strong proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
