Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critical patients using advanced monitoring technologies
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Perform complex nursing interventions including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on critical care procedures
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Current NY State RN license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
