Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a 24-bed ICU unit
- Monitor and interpret patient data using advanced telemetry and ventilator systems
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide family education and emotional support during high-stress situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Participate in rapid response team activations and code blue emergencies
- Mentor new nurses and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
