Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill patients across diverse medical conditions
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, ECG readings, and diagnostic results
- Administer medications and therapies with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using EMR systems
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Participate in rapid response team activations and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active RN license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
