Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care nursing for patients with acute cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological conditions
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic data with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment (e.g., ventilators, hemodynamic monitors)
- Lead rapid response interventions during medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior nursing staff through our peer-to-peer support program
Qualifications
- BSN degree with current New York State RN license
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and critical care documentation
- Demonstrated expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
