Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized care to critically ill cardiac patients with advanced monitoring techniques
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, adhering to strict protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois with BSN required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications mandatory
- Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Experience with Epic EMR system
