Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and doctor's orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment, reporting changes to physicians immediately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
