Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage to determine the urgency of medical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond immediately to any changes or critical emergencies.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care or Emergency Room nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients and operate medical equipment.
