Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and interventions in fast-paced emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Lead trauma resuscitation teams during critical incidents
- Mentor new nursing staff through our structured onboarding program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- BSN degree with 2+ years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Demonstrated critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills for diverse patient interactions
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
