Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in ICU/CCU settings
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring systems
- Administer medications and therapeutic interventions per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Provide education to patients and families on treatment plans
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- 2+ years critical care nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
