Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in 20-bed ICU
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, administering life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on complex care plans
- Utilize electronic health records (Epic) for precise documentation
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Participate in rapid response team activations and code blues
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois with current BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years ICU or critical care experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
