Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care nursing interventions including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer complex medications and perform emergency procedures with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and outcomes using Epic EHR systems
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to code blue events with ACLS-certified expertise
- Advocate for patient safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State (NYSED)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred) from accredited institution
- 3+ years ICU experience with telemetry proficiency
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking skills in emergency situations
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
