Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Manage environmental permits, waste streams, and sustainability reporting initiatives
- Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs for 500+ employees
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation required
- Deep expertise in OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful EHS programs
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing EHS teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
