Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity critical care setting
- Monitor and interpret complex hemodynamic parameters
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Document clinical observations using Epic EMR system
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Mentor nursing students and new staff members
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current NYS RN license (required)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 3+ years ICU or critical care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in critical care monitoring equipment
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system
