Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer complex medications and interventions including vasoactive drips and temporary pacemakers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain precise documentation of patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency resuscitation procedures
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Washington State RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience with cardiac specialty focus
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ECG interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
