Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to post-cardiac surgery patients and acute cardiac conditions
- Administer advanced cardiac medications and interpret ECG rhythms
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage ventilator-dependent patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex treatment plans
- Maintain precise documentation in Epic EMR systems
- Participate in rapid response codes and cardiac emergencies
- Mentor new nurses through our residency program
Qualifications
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Current IL RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- 3+ years Cardiac ICU experience
- Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking skills in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR and cardiac monitoring equipment
