Responsibilities
- Perform pre/post-procedure assessments and patient education
- Assist in complex interventional cardiology procedures
- Monitor hemodynamic parameters during procedures
- Administer medications and contrast agents per protocol
- Document clinical data accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain sterile technique and equipment safety standards
Qualifications
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in Illinois
- 2+ years critical care or cath lab experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience with Philips or Siemens imaging systems preferred
